TCS – Java Selenium Automation Engineer

Job Description:
TCS is looking for Automation Engineers skilled in Java and Selenium to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks. The role involves analyzing requirements, creating test scenarios, writing automation scripts, and executing test cycles to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit

• Understand functional requirements and prepare detailed test cases

• Execute automated and manual test suites; identify defects and track them to closure

• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to improve product quality

• Participate in regression testing, CI/CD integrations, and code reviews

• Generate automation reports and ensure best QA practices

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Core Java (OOPS, Collections, Exception Handling)

• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver

• Familiarity with TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Git

• Understanding of automation framework design (POM, Hybrid, Data-Driven)

• Basic knowledge of API testing and SQL is a plus

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Good to Have:

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is added advantage
