Diesel Mechanic – 105 posts
Electronic Mechanic – 88 posts
Machinist – 54 posts

Carpenter – 22 posts
Motor Mechanic – 12 posts
These apprentices will receive training in various railway workshops and divisions such as Secunderabad, Vijayawada, Guntakal, Hyderabad, and Tirupati.
Educational Qualification
To apply for this recruitment, candidates must have:
Passed 10th Class / SSC with at least 50% marks
Completed ITI in the relevant trade
ITI certificate must be issued by NCVT or SCVT recognized institute
Note:
Engineering graduates or diploma holders are not eligible for this apprentice recruitment.
Age Limit
Candidates must meet the following age requirements:
Minimum Age: 15 years
Maximum Age: 24 years
Age relaxation:
SC / ST – 5 years
OBC – 3 years
PwBD – 10 years
Age will be calculated as of 11 April 2026.
Selection Process
The selection process is very simple.
There is no written exam or interview.
Candidates will be selected based on a merit list, which is calculated using:
10th class marks
ITI marks
Both marks are given equal weightage, and the final merit list is prepared accordingly.
If two candidates have the same marks, preference will be given to the older candidate.
