🎯 Role Overview

As an Android Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for direct-to-consumer platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, responsive, and performance-driven applications using modern Android technologies and AI-assisted development workflows.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

✔ Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Android applications
✔ Build and optimize B2C / D2C mobile applications with strong user experience
✔ Develop applications using Kotlin / Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)
✔ Implement modern Android architecture and lifecycle-aware components
✔ Work with MVVM architecture using Jetpack ViewModel and StateFlow / SharedFlow
✔ Develop and integrate REST APIs with strong understanding of REST principles
✔ Optimize app performance, debugging, and stability
✔ Build applications using modern tech stacks like RxJava, Coroutines, and Dagger
✔ Write unit tests and ensure strong code coverage
✔ Work with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git and Bitbucket
✔ Leverage AI-assisted and agentic development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot

🎓 Required Skills & Qualifications

✅ Core Skills
✔ 3 – 6 years of hands-on experience in Android / Mobile Application Development
✔ Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)
✔ Experience building and maintaining scalable B2C / D2C applications
✔ Strong understanding of mobile architecture, lifecycle, debugging, and performance optimization
✔ Hands-on experience with RxJava, Coroutines, and Dagger
✔ Expertise in MVVM architecture and Android Jetpack components
✔ Experience building and integrating REST APIs
✔ Strong experience in Unit Testing and code quality practices
✔ Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, and CI/CD workflows

🤖 AI & Modern Development Practices
✔ Exposure to AI-assisted and agentic development workflows
✔ Experience using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot
✔ Ability to leverage modern development workflows for faster execution and productivity

⭐ Good-to-Have Skills
• Exposure to Swift or Flutter development
• Understanding of BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) architecture patterns
• Experience handling flaky network conditions with intelligent caching
• Familiarity with Maestro for automated UI testing
• Knowledge of Android Dynamic Performance Framework (ADPF)
• Experience using analytics tools like BigQuery or Apdex for performance insights
