1. Tell me about yourself.
I am [Your Name], currently pursuing or completed my MBA in Human Resources. I have a strong interest in HR, especially recruitment. In college, I took part in placement activities and learned about screening and interview coordination. I have good communication skills and enjoy working with people. 3. What do you understand about the recruitment process?
The recruitment process includes several steps: understanding the job opening, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and finalizing the hiring. It also involves scheduling, follow-ups, and clear communication with both the candidate and the internal team. It’s about finding the right person for the right job.
4. How would you source candidates for a job opening?
I would first understand the job requirement clearly. Then I would look for candidates using job portals like Naukri, LinkedIn, and even through referrals or college campuses. For fresher roles, I would also connect with placement cells. I would use keywords to search resumes and shortlist the ones that match the job description.
5. How do you handle pressure or tight deadlines?
When I face pressure or tight timelines, I first stay calm. I break down the work into smaller tasks and prioritize. I use a to-do list or planner to stay organized. If needed, I ask for help or update my manager. I believe smart planning and teamwork help reduce pressure.
6. Tell me about a time you worked in a team.
In college, I worked on a group project and also helped organize placement drives. We had to divide tasks, prepare schedules, and communicate with many people.
