About the Role

HARMAN is looking for an experienced C++ Linux IPC Middleware Developer to design, develop, and optimize IPC middleware solutions for Linux-based systems. The role involves working on cutting-edge automotive technologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build high-performance software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain IPC middleware solutions for Linux-based systems.

• Develop high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications using C++.

• Integrate IPC middleware with Linux-based platforms.

• Optimize middleware performance for low latency and high throughput.

• Collaborate with development, testing, and product management teams.

Required Skills

• 3–6 years of experience in C++ programming with Linux development.

• Strong understanding of IPC mechanisms such as Sockets, Pipes, and Shared Memory.

• Experience with Linux kernel and user-space programming.

• Hands-on experience with IPC middleware technologies like DDS (Data Distribution Service) or similar.

• Knowledge of IPC protocols and standards.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Real-Time Systems (RTOS or Real-Time Linux).

• Familiarity with Automotive standards such as AUTOSAR and ISO 26262.

• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).

Eligibility

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in C++ programming, Linux development, and IPC middleware.

• Strong technical expertise in C++, Linux, and middleware technologies.
