L2 SOC Analyst – Job Description
Company: ltimindtree
Experience: 3.5 – 5 Years
Location: Bengaluru
Responsible for monitoring and responding to security incidents using SIEM tools such as Splunk, Azure Sentinel, LogRhythm, Securonix, and Palo Alto XSIAM. Handles alert investigation, threat hunting, and incident response with hands-on experience in EDR tools like CrowdStrike and Microsoft Defender. Requires strong knowledge of networking, attack techniques, and security controls, along with experience in SOAR automation and cloud security monitoring. Works in a 24×7 rotational shift environment.
Key Skills
SIEM: LogRhythm, Securonix, Azure Sentinel, Splunk, Palo Alto XSIAM
Security monitoring, alert triage, and incident response
Threat hunting and threat intelligence
EDR tools: CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
SOAR automation and DLP solutions
Network security fundamentals (TCP/IP, protocols, attack techniques)
MITRE ATT&CK framework, basic Sigma/YARA
Cloud security monitoring (Azure / AWS / GCP)
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
