Job Description:

Sonata Software is looking for a Junior Java Developer with hands-on experience in building and supporting scalable enterprise applications. The role involves working on Java-based microservices and APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Java, Microservices, and REST APIs

• Work on event-driven architectures and streaming solutions

• Participate in design, coding, unit testing, and debugging activities

• Collaborate with senior developers, architects, and QA teams

• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability

• Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and development best practices

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Java

• Experience with Microservices / REST APIs

• Exposure to Event Streaming (Kafka)

• Basic experience with Azure cloud and Helm (preferred)

• Understanding of SDLC and Agile practices

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of containerization and deployment tools

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

• Exposure to cloud-native application development
